From June 23 to 29, China is observing its 35th National Energy Conservation Week. In response to the theme "Improving Efficiency, Lead with Renewal," TAILG is taking concrete action to promote green and low-carbon values.

Over the years, TAILG has been actively involved in standard-setting, technological innovation, and international project implementation, advancing low-carbon mobility and delivering intelligent, sustainable mobility solutions worldwide.

Low-carbon Empowerment, Intelligent Manufacturing Upgrade

Since receiving the industry’s first “China Energy-saving Product Certification” in 2017, TAILG has actively participated in setting energy-saving standards and improving related regulations.

As the United Nations E-Mobility Partner, and with support from Chinese Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the Belt and Road Green Development Center, TAILG has launched low-carbon mobility projects in Uganda, Kenya, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam—driving the global shift toward greener transport.

On the manufacturing side, TAILG is enhancing the green standards of its industrial and supply chains. In 2023, it partnered with UNEP, CQC, and the Belt and Road Green Development Center to establish the Global Institute for Low-carbon Mobility.

TAILG’s Wuxi base has been certified as a green factory, and Huizhou base is advancing toward a zero-carbon model to support sustainable industrial transformation.

To enhance the environmental performance of its products, TAILG partnered with third-party authorities to conduct carbon emission assessments in line with international standards.

TAILG’s representative e-scooter and e-motorcycle models have received Product Carbon Footprint Certification for two consecutive years, demonstrating strong green credentials across the full product lifecycle.

In April 2025, TAILG, together with CQC and the Chongqing Dazu Government, launched a full-lifecycle carbon management system covering R&D, production, and use—making it easier for users to participate in low-carbon travel.

Global Synergy, Green Leadership

As the world confronts the urgent challenges of climate change, TAILG continues to act with purpose.

In 2024, TAILG was invited to attend COP29 (the 29th UN Climate Change Conference), becoming the first Chinese electric two-wheeler brand to share its emission-reduction experience and offer tailored solutions for Africa’s solar belt project.

In the Philippines, TAILG’s postal vehicles operate across hundreds of islands, cutting carbon emissions equivalent to planting 230,000 trees each year.

The short film Stamp, based on this project, won top honors in the Belt and Road Green Development Short Video Competition and was featured by China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment as a model of green cooperation.

In the future, TAILG will continue to take concrete actions to advance carbon reduction and sustainability, delivering high-quality green mobility solutions that highlight Chinese intelligent manufacturing globally.
